Reverse Logistics

Reverse logistics covers the movement of items from the customer back to the seller or warehouse. At Shadowfax, this means dispatching a pickup executive to collect a return from the customer's doorstep.

How It Works

1. Client places a pickup order via the API with the customer's address, item details, and return type (RTS or RTO).
2. Shadowfax assigns a rider from the nearest hub and schedules the pickup.
3. Rider picks up the item, optionally performing a quality check at the doorstep.
4. Item arrives at a Shadowfax hub, where it's sorted and routed to the seller (RTS) or origin warehouse (RTO).
5. Status updates are pushed via webhooks at each transition.
